Fun Dinosaur Craft!
When is a circle not a circle? When it’s a dinosaur! This simple and friendly dino craft is a fun way to talk with your child about cutting shapes, painting colors, and more. What dinosaur names can you name together? You can also support your child’s developing motor skills with simple cuts, and when it’s finished, your child has created an amazing DIY dinosaur toy.
Materials:
– Plain white paper plate
– Small cardboard tube
– Scissors
– Glue or stapler
– Paint and brush
– Googly eye
– Black marker
Directions:
– Cut the paper plate in half
– Use one half for the body
– Cut the other half into a head and tail
– Staple or glue the head and tail to the body
– Paint the dinosaur your favorite color
– Cut the cardboard tube in half for the feet and paint the same color as the dinosaur
