Summer break<\/a> is a great time to do fun crafts with your preschooler! The days may seem long at first, but having planned activities to break them up will help you and your preschooler adjust. Here are some ideas for easy crafts that your preschooler is sure to love.<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Make pinwheels for the flowerbeds! <\/span><\/h4>\n

Nothing brightens up your curb appeal like some colorful paper pinwheels! If you know the weather will be nice and not rainy for a good while, help your preschooler make some pinwheels to put outside. All you\u2019ll need is some colorful paper, a metal clasp pin, and a plastic straw! Let your preschooler decorate their pinwheel ahead of time. Then, cut the paper into a square and cut about halfway in on the four diagonals. Bring each point to the middle and attach them together and to the straw with the metal clasp pin. Then, let your preschooler put their pinwheel outside and watch as the wind brings it to life!<\/span><\/p>\n

Make cards and take them to a local care center! <\/span><\/h4>\n

Nothing brightens someone\u2019s day like getting a handmade card. If you find yourself with a little more time on your hands this summer, help your preschooler make a batch of cards to give away. If you decide to hand deliver the cards with your little one, you\u2019ll be sure to receive loads of smiles in return!<\/span><\/p>\n

Create a summer scrapbook! <\/span><\/h4>\n

Whether you have big things planned for summer vacation or you just plan on staying around town with your little one, you\u2019ll have things you want to document when it\u2019s all over. Take pictures when you and your little one are doing something fun and get them printed out. Then, grab some colored paper and decorations and let your preschooler make a creative scrapbook about their fun summer days. You\u2019ll then have great memories to look back on for years to come!<\/span><\/p>\n
