Safety

FACILITY:

  • Glass Walls: Our classrooms feature tempered glass walls for maximum visibility & safety. This safety measure promotes an open, bright and clean atmosphere that is easily maintained
  • Clean Classrooms: Includes an individual place for your child’s personal things. We always offer disinfected toys & play areas, and child-sized sinks for washing hands

OUR STAFF:

  • Safety Monitoring: We ensure every item your child interacts with meets safety standards to prevent choking hazards

  • Electronic Security & Coded Entry: We maximize security so that only authorized visitors may enter the facility
  • Security Cameras: Every classroom in our facility has security cameras that are monitored at the front desk. The owners and staff can easily observe classroom activities throughout each day. Families can login to a secure, password-protected website to check in on your child periodically
  • Hiring Process: All Frisco staff undergo extensive state-mandated background checks prior to being hired
  • Fully-Staffed Front Desk: Our front desk is always supervising the facility and ensuring authorized entries only

Meals

MEAL TIME

  • Bottle-fed babies are held & rocked by our staff during feedings.
  • Babies that eat cereal or jar foods eat while buckled securely in high chairs. Our staff sits at eye-level during meal time
  • A cheerful voice is used while your infant to eats to ensure encouragement during nourishment.
  • Simple stories are also told during mealtimes to stimulate listening

LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

  • Once able, infants are encouraged to hold their own bottle. Our staff never props bottles to feed
  • Infants are encouraged to wipe or wash their hands with assistance at the sink.
  • We require each family to complete or regularly update an infant feeding plan. This meal plan ensures that our staff completely understands your child’s specific dietary needs and meal-time habits.

Our focus is on expanding the mind through imagination and strengthening the body through play in order that your child can:

  • Initiate play & engages in some physical activity
  • Respond to what he hears, sees, touches, tastes & smells
  • Show interest in a certain item by pointing and/or reaching for objects
  • Examine a toy, rattle, or object for a short period
  • Repeats actions to make something happen again
  • Demonstrate the beginnings of coordination & balance, often with needed support
